What is the best way to clean windows?
In most cases a squeegee is the best tool for washing windows.
Soapy water is the best solution to use with a squeegee for washing windows.
First, scrub the window with the soapy water on a sponge or rag.
Next, making sure that your squeegee is dry, start from the top of the window frame and, applying a little pressure, slide the squeegee rubber down to the bottom of the sill, dragging the dirty water down along with it.
Wipe the squeegee rubber dry with a rag or cloth.
Moving onto the next section of glass, overlap your squeegee an inch or so onto the clean part of the glass and repeat the process of dragging the dirty water down the glass to the sill.
Repeat this process until the window is fully cleaned.
Advanced tip: You can swivel the squeegee side by side in an “s” pattern down the glass in one go. This is a lot quicker and leaves less streaks.
What Is the best window cleaning solution?
The best method to cleaning windows is with a squeegee, therefore, the best window cleaning solution is simply soapy water as the squeegee does the majority of the work. The best window cleaning solution is a good sized portion of dishwashing liquid in a bucket of warm water, as mentioned, used along with a squeegee.

How do i remove marks, bug residue, builder residue or stains from a window?
There are two methods.
First is to use a non-abrasive steel wool. It is important to use a “super fine” grade of steel wool to avoid damaging your window. Just lightly rub the steel wool over the mark or residue, be extra careful when applying more pressure.
You can also use a scraping razor. Make sure the razor blade is clean. Wet up the glass before you use the razor, this will help the razor slide along the glass without scratching. Only scrape the glass in one direction, never backwards and forwards. Clean the blade between each movement and only ever scrape on foot of glass at a time.
When using either steel wool or a razor scraper, always test it out on an inconspicuous corner of the glass first and BE CAREFUL.
